Product Performance Standards

All our security products comply with the latest Product Performance Standards.

LPCB

Tested to the rigorous LPS 1175 Burglary Resistance standard, the product is certified to resist timed manual attacks that mimic common burglary methods using commercially available tools such as knives, levers and screwdrivers.

Operated by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), the UK's leading independent certification body, the standard is recognised and endorsed by 16 organisations, including the Association of British Insurers and the Association of Chief Police Officers.

CE Marked

All our products are fully compliant with all European approach directives and product safety standards and are CE marked to demonstrate their compliance. All our products strictly comply with the latest Product Performance Health and Safety Standards.

Roller Garage Door

Has been independently wind load tested to a minimum of Class 2. Larger doors are fitted with a reliable anti - fallback device to protect you and your family against uncontrolled or unbalanced movement in the event of a component failure.

Industrial and Commercial Shutters, Garage Doors and Gates are fully compliant to BS EN 13241-1 and CE marked against the Construction Products Directive and also the Machinery Directive, a mandatory requirement in the UK.

BS EN 12604:2003

If the weight of the shutter exceeds 26.5 kg, it must be safeguarded against uncontrolled movement. A safety brake/secondary spring has to be included in the specification in order to comply with BS EN 12604:2003, a mandatory requirement in the UK.

BS EN 12453

For Remote Control Roller Doors fitted with a single phase tubular motor, the Standard (BS EN 12453 - Safety in use Power Operated Doors) calls for a Type 'C' pressure sensitive protective device "safety edge" that complies with specific force limitations. We are fully compliant with this standard.

BS EN 12424/12444

For Roller Doors fitted to the external facades of buildings: This product has been tested by a notified body for windloading performance as per BS EN 12424/12444. It has successfully met the requirements of the standard which are equivalent to storm force conditions.

BS EN 13241-1

Our Retractable Security Gates are fully compliant to BS EN 13241-1 (Industrial, Commercial, Garage Doors and Gates: - Product Standard).

PASMA

Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturers Association.

Our installers are qualified for the assembly & use of scaffold platform towers and the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of mobile access towers. This includes safe assembly, dismantling and re-locating and alterating a mobile access tower without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others.
